Why is it exactly women’s partnership that will help to become more decisive?
With men scenarios can be different. When they see a female leader, only 1% of them have the wisdom to take advantage of this situation, see and lean on all the strengths that she has.
99% get foolish excitement: “So, I have an opponent, what the hell, I will compete with her!” And then they act just like a man, trying to compete with a woman and prove something to her.
The fight is uneven.
The woman will win emotionally, the man — logically.
Therefore, I am for women’s cooperation.
I’m for understanding which person will complement you as much as possible. For example, if you are indecisive, but you have an idea that you want to implement, you can take someone more braver than you who will say: “Come on, now we’ll try this and jump.”
Isn’t this about shifting responsibility? We don’t manifest any leadership qualities here?
We do manifest.
With our conscious choice: we allow someone to make a decision to get the idea realized.
If we take a passive position, then yes, we can speak about shifting responsibility. But when you understand that you can’t make up your mind and you need someone’s help — it’s different.
Let your partner help you to make a decision.
It also will be difficult. I can’t say that it’s about making a decision instead of you.
For example, someone told you: “I decided to implement your idea,” but then you need to act together.
You still need to continue showing your leadership.
If you stop only while making a decision, why not take advantage of the partnership.
An important moment about partnership: don’t forget to discuss and write down the agreements. Before making a final decision on cooperation, discuss its terms and responsibilities for each of you. All this should be fixed as a letter, a document or in any other convenient way.
Here we have the same principle of work as in the family: it is better to agree beforehand who washes the dishes than to spoil the whole marriage later because of this miserable cleaning.
Also I recommend discussing the conditions for withdrawing from partnership at the beginning. For example, when both of you have reached a certain point.
